To meet the rapidly increasing need for affordable housing, a social lettings agency was developed with the objective of making good-quality rented accomodation more accessible within the town - Guildhall Residential Lettings.
We adopt an ethical approach that aims to support the Council's continuous efforts to improve access to as well as standards within with private rented sector, bring empty properties back into use, help prevent homelessness in the borough and reduce the number of homeless households living in temporary accomodation.
Here at Guildhall Residential Lettings, we provide expert, impartial and comprehensive advice on leasing and letting and, by encouraging self-service and effectively utilising the latest technology, we are able to provide landlords and tenants with excellent services that provide value for money. Guildhall Residential Lettings places great emphasis on honesty, fairness and excellence when dealing with tenants and landlords, as well as serving a greater social purpose within the town.

Helen McDonnell
Helen has been with the Council since 2014, and employs a wealth of experience when handling placements, lettings management, tenancy issues, rent income and welfare benefits advice. Her specialised skills and extensive knowledge of the tenancy process means she is best placed to ensure the day to day management of our properties runs smoothly, and deal with any issues that arise in a timely manner.

Toby Wallace
Toby spent over seven and a half years working in the Northampton property market prior to starting with the Council in 2020. Born and bred in the town, he brings with him tremendous local knowledge to complement his years of experience. Toby also has a thorough grasp of relevant legislation, having completed his ARLA (Association of Residential Lettings Agents) qualifications in 2012. This means that he is well placed to give expert advice to both Landlords and Tenants alike.

Clementine Wood
Clementine joined the Council in 2017. Prior to this, she worked as a Senior Negotiator for a local independent estate agent following graduation. Clementine has always lived within Northamptonshire, and this local knowledge and experience makes her ideally placed to offer a professional and positive service to both Landlords and Tenants.
